to have a Tortoise Room. It looks out on to the fynbos garden at the

king-size bed.
It has its own huge, separate,
private bathroom with bath and overhead shower. Complimentary

Facilities

Guest
Lounge
Breakfast is served in the Guest Lounge, and
you may also use this room to prepare your own food, if you do
not want to use our local restaurants. There is a microwave and
fridge/freezer for your use. You can also relax in the big comfy
chairs and watch TV, or read one of the many books and
magazines that are available.
In the fridge there is a stock of soft drinks
and bottled water, which operates on an "honesty bar"
basis. There is also a complimentary tea and
coffee-making facility, if you would prefer something
hot.

Outdoor
Braai
There is a small braai facility in the side
garden. Just ask us for
the tools if you fancy using it. There are several shops in
the village that sell wood or charcoal and they also supply braai
meat and, of course, the wine to go with
it!

Whale Deck
The whale deck overlooks the bay of
Pearly
Beach. There are
panoramic views right across to Quoin Point. During the whale season, we
have the single largest concentration of Southern Right whales along
this coast and you can watch them perform from this deck. You may also hear them
whilst you are lying in bed at night. If you would like to take
your coffee up to the whale deck, just ask us, as you are more than welcome to sit up
there and enjoy the view.
You can also see the conservation islands of
Dyer and Geyser from this deck, where the world-renowned shark cage
diving takes place.
If this inspires you to get even closer to the
whales or the sharks, we can arrange the boat-trip of a lifetime for
you to view them "up close and
personal". |
There is private off-road
parking
available. |
